Katie Louchheim 

Katie is an audio engineer, singer/songwriter, artist, personal expression activist, feminist, and chronic illness chronicler. Katie has studied with her mentor and master voice teacher Joyce Keshner ongoing for 14 years. Much of that time has been spent being told to "stop decomposing the song" as well as taking many necessary tea and bagel breaks. Katie grew up in Tucson, AZ and moved to New York in 2008 to pursue music. Along with her studies and continual growth, Katie has been working very closely with Recording Artists Development, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps artists bring their visions to life and is on the education team of Female Frequency an organization of promoting women in all areas of the music-making process and fighting the erasure of their contributions. Katie has her Bachelor's in Cultural Analysis from The New School for Public Engagement as well as her Creative Arts Therapy Certificate and she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Institute of Audio Research. Katie currently resides in Brooklyn with her cat Gatsby.
